Don't know about competitive but it'll certainly be intriuging and refreshing to see who becomes Vitali's apparent 'predecessor' and claims the WBC title. Might be a dark horse, might be a perrenial contender, might be a former champ, who knows

It will make things more interesting but it wont make them more talented.

Vitali has always been willing to fight anyone and I don't think his fights are boring though most are one sided. Because he lost to the best fighter he ever fought, boxing history will not be kind to him, and I don't see the type of contender out there right now that will change that. I don't want to see him retire, but I'm cool with it if he does. Unless he fights his brother there's no real reason to continue except for $$$$.

No, I actually enjoy Vitali fights, would be nice to see Wlad pick up Vit's strap though.

Heavyweight Boxing will seem better when their both gone, but It won't be.

Vitali has retired once before and the boxing world didn't even notice. If he leaves again, it will be more of the same.

It'll be interesting to have a real undisputed heavyweight champion, which will be Wlad. Not even Lennox accomplished that, he never held the WBO title.

The current heavyweight division is that weak I don't think it matters at all, his next opponent has lost 2 of his last 3 fights ffs there is no one out there who can enhance his legacy and no doubt he has earned enough money to retire comfortably i see no reason to continue.
