Valero vs Mayweather

All I can say is Valero beat the crap out of Delahoya when sparring so he was fired and Floyd barley sqeeked by a split decsion win agnist a out of shape declining Oscar so I say if Valero ferocious tenacity stayed on Mayweather he beats himComment

not quite the same but he fought the whole fight against de marco with an incredible gash in his forehead and blood pouring everywhere. It might turn out like Corrales as opposed to Gatti, but really Valero hadn't got into a situation like that so tough to say how he would respond to getting worked like that.
He may clam up, he may implode, he may try his very best to get back in the fight. But remember he was crazy and had huge issues when his girl defied him, so what happens when someone that can fight back that he can do nothing to is beating the fuck out of him~ probably won't react well~
reckon he was a pretty tough little bugger.Comment

I don't see Floyd throwing bombs on Valero. He'd most likely pick him apart, not go for the kill. Specially if it's below 147 as he runs the risk of breaking his hands. So, I still say Baldomir-like performance. A pure clinic if Valero didn't connect with his howitzers.Comment

Demarco opened a cut on Valero from a headbutt and Valero kept his composure like a Champion. The way he conducted himself outside of the ring is irrelevant in comparing fighters in the ring. Valero would have a chance against Floyd since even Emanuel Augustus bloodied Floyd up so with Valero's pressure he would have been a live opponent at 130-135Comment

The De Marco fight is a completely different scenario because Valero ran the show that fight cut or not~ Demarco completely let Valero do his thing, thus whatever adversity he faced is completely different to the sort he would face against a guy who isn't going to obliege him~. The Vincente Mosquera fight is a better example anyways and even in that fight Valero was still allowed to do his thing. What happens when Valero doesn't get his way in the ring~
Which is a big part of what got him into trouble outside the ring~ not getting his way that is~Comment

Where is the fight taking place at? 140, 147(2007 Floyd), 147(2009-2011 Floyd)? 140 was Floyd's physical peak IMO. His skilled and athleticism were equally matched.
2007 era Floyd Baldomir and whomever he faced afterward he picked up his potshotting reputation.
Floyd Marquez and on is willing to stand his ground and counter you.Comment

Below 140lb he was far more aggressive so I really don't see where the ''especially'' comes from. In his 42 fight career he has fought like he did in the Baldomir fight twice yet people assume he will approach any fighter with punching power that way.I don't see Floyd throwing bombs on Valero. He'd most likely pick him apart, not go for the kill. Specially if it's below 147 as he runs the risk of breaking his hands. So, I still say Baldomir-like performance.
