Why isnt the Ortiz/Berto rematch on HBO?

Does anyone have any info on why HBO didnt pick up this fight? It's arguably fight of the year for 2011.

This, I think HBO are scared of going over their boxing budget again this year and as a result are being TOO tight with their money, or their planning on splashing all their money on a Floyd/Pac fight and know something we don't

Yea, Showtime bought it for 2.25 million (HBO offered 2.15 million).

Anybody watching the pre game for the AFC Championship? I just saw a commercial promoting the rematch. There wasn't any mention of the Fight Camp 360 though.

HBO are a bunch of chumps.....Berto and Ortiz wanted to broaden their horizons.

I think it can only be a good thing if SHO starts getting big fights or big name stars. Leaves HBO more money to make big fights happen. If both networks are getting names, the more fights and top fighters we see.
