^i second that. Ramos was pathetic in this fight. But i guess when he started to let his hands go, this is what would've happened.

Man, Rigo really loads up on those left hands when he has his opponent in trouble, maybe a little too much too often. Guillermo's power is quite underrated. A lot of people are misled by his usually unaggressive counter-punching style. When "The Jackal" cuts loose, he's ferocious.

I like the job Salas, Rigo's trainer, was doing between rounds. As I suspected, Ismael's chemistry with Guillermo is far more desirable to Ronnie Shields's connection with Rigo.

What do you guys think about Tarver as a commentator? I like him.

is Rigondeaux's trainer the same trainer that Cotto had during the Margarito fight?

I don't think so. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Cotto had Pedro Diaz. Same trainer as Odlanier Solis.

That's off the top of my head. Someone bash me if I'm wrong on that.

Ismael Salas was Gamboa's trainer for the most part.

Ramos was frozen that whole night. He didn't know what to do with Rigo.

cong**** to rigondeaux for a solid win

those who are jumping the gun and saying he can beat donaire were caught up in the moment, though

                    lets be real here.
he dominated and looked spectacular against a guy who not only didnt show up to throw many punches. and he couldnt deal a world class operator's offense

                    rigo nine fights
a few fights ago he was horribly inconsistent against ricardo cordoba, who is clearly lightyears beyond ramos.

he's an amazing boxer, certainly, but what he's shown is nothing to suggest that he's ready for a top five p4p quantity with an offense like donaire's

the pace that rigo would push on his best night is the exact wrong fight against donaire
you dont want to let donaire study you and get a look at you all night. eventually he'll make you pay for it when you open up

rigo is in a rough spot
his age will obviously force the issue. they're going to have to try and get him big fights before he commands them
and with his skills and style (unless he's beating somebody's ass he's usually getting boo'ed,) i dont think you'll see anybody jumping to get in the ring with the guy
