Recent Story: Time to set all pettiness aside: Even split is fair for Pacquiao and Mayweather
Yes, you read it right. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. said he thinks Manny Pacquiao is a 'helluva' fighter. "I love Manny Pacquiao. I love going and watching his fights. I think he's a 'helluva' fighter. He's an extraordinary fight," Mayweather told a reporter.

Because the last time I checked, Mayweather was saying the exact opposite, like how one-dimensional and ordinary Pacquiao is.
And to think this was about five years ago back when Pacquiao was just learning how to be a two-fisted fighter. Mayweather was spotted cheering for Pacquiao ringside againt Erik Morales during their rematch.
But at soon as Pacquiao shot up to the top after Mayweather left the game; after people found his replacement as the king of the ring, Mayweather started to sing a different tune.
As Pacquiao moved up in weight, claimed more belts and gained more popularity, Mayweather's perception of him soured and became relatively less popular. All of a sudden, Mayweather was cursing out, insulting and hurling racist remarks toward a fighter he used to love.
Pop star Justin Bieber was quoted by V magazine referencing Mayweather when he said, “Yeah, I mean, when I was coming up, trying to get to where I am now, people were so happy [for me]. They were rooting for me. Now that I’m on top, everyone wants to bring me down. Everyone’s trying to tug at me and take my spot. And that’s how it always is, everyone wants you to be on top, and as soon as you’re there — like Floyd Mayweather, he’s the best boxer in the world.”
He must've meant how Mayweather has been acting toward Pacquiao. But if Mayweather really wants to prove he's still the undisputed pound-for-pound king, he can't just do it through the media and Twitter, he needs to do it inside the boxing ring.
