The WBA's "regular champion" at super middleweight, Karoly Balzsay (24-2, 17KOs), has become a forgotten man in the division but it's now being reported that Balzsay is planning his return after recovering from a back injury. Balzsay is also in negotiations with Universum about his contract. Karoly stepped in for Dimitri Sartison on short notice to win the regular crown on a decison over Stas Kashtanov last year. The winner in this fight was, by agreement, to make his first defense against Sartison but the new boss at Universum, Waldemar Kluch, has reportedly nixed all internal matchups.
