Highly ranked cruiserweight contender Troy Ross (24-2, 16KOs) has signed a promotional contract with Sauerland Event and fights on their big card in Frankfurt, on February 4th, which features a crusierweight rematch between Yoan Pablo Hernandez and Steve Cunningham for the IBF championship. Ross will take on British boxer Billy Boyle (13-14, 7KOs) and he is expected to win relatively easy.

Sauerland make some pretty entertaining cards imo. They seem to have every top name at Cruiserweight.

I'd like to see a Super Six version with the Cruiser's.

sauerland talked of this last year.he owns most of the world's top CWs. troy ross is ducked heavily by cunningham & several other CWs. he will get some good fights.

ross needs better fights then this. he has good skills but he's not gittin any younger. i think he can make some noise at cruiser but i think he would be better off at light heavy a lil to short for cruiser imo, he's only 5'11

That would be nice, I think they dropped the idea because guys like Tarver, Green, Cunningham and Guillermo Jones are too old to start in such a tournament.
Tarver and Cunningham would be missed if they are left out, Bute all over again. It would be nice to have that tournament though, but I think it would require several international tv deals. Could Tarver and Cunningham bring Epix or Showtime onboard? Could Afolabi bring a British broadcaster in?
I would like to see it even with Cunningham and Tarver in it, they can always be replaced if they drop out.

I would like to see a tournament like the super six in all divisions without a lineal champion, maybe even some of the ones that have one.
