Tit for Tat is what I see , you only see Manny as the good guy , to think Floyd was never gunna want the bigger slice is gullible , his numbers earn it , Manny has said previously he would take the smaller cut and now is going back on that , so who really is putting up a roadblock ,,,,,, I dont think the money will stop the fight , I dont believe Floyd would not take the fight because of a 50/50 call although he will squeeze , like I said thats part of the game , if Manny asked for more it wont happen , Floyd is the bigger revenue earner and he wont take less but I believe he will take 50/50 because Manny will walk otherwise .

And Floyd thinks he deserves more than 50/50!!!! lol Not only did he beat everyone Floyd fought, more convincingly...he fought three Floyd retired (ducked) to keep from fighting!

They'll stall until a point when the fight can no longer be made due to the closeness of May 5th because both parties are satisfied not to make the fight take place at this point. They just want to make it look like they do in order to gain leverage for later discussions which is a process that has and will probably keep going on forever unless somebody steps in (or one of them steps up) and calls it like it is, two people inventing increasingly creative ways not to face each other in the ring.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are disgracing the sport with this, although with boxing's reputation as it already is (not good), more of the damage is done to themselves. I guess they are confident in not losing any of their customers despite their best efforts to ruin the fight game and sadly they're right about it. There will still be enough PPV buyers and enough money to be made in other less intriguing fights to not make sense to risk it all in a big fight like this.

I don't disagree, but let's wait and see how this plays out is what I'm saying. This is how negotiation works, it's just that they usually dont unfold in front of the public.

Both need to get busy with their training and promotion, so we won't wait much longer to find out what's what.
