To the fickle, let's think for a minute here. Use your brain before your emotions get the best of you.

First, Manny has publicly stated he'd take a smaller split.

Second, and most important, I think Floyd's playing the game here. He wants them to concede on the 5th and the MGM so he'll in turn have to concede something. Him turning down 50/50 was likely to get the ball rolling and it has as, per Levi, "negotiations are now taking place."

If Floyd plays it right, maybe they reach a point where Pacquiao agrees to May 5 if Floyd agrees to 50/50. Give it another week, two at the most.
