I've been critical in this past week on Arum & Pacquiao for not willing to fight on May 5 as well the need to create Temporary Outdor Stadium...

They'll stall until a point when the fight can no longer be made due to the closeness of May 5th because both parties are satisfied not to make the fight take place at this point. They just want to make it look like they do in order to gain leverage for later discussions which is a process that has and will probably keep going on forever unless somebody steps in (or one of them steps up) and calls it like it is, two people inventing increasingly creative ways not to face each other in the ring.

Mayweather and Pacquiao are disgracing the sport with this, although with boxing's reputation as it already is (not good), more of the damage is done to themselves. I guess they are confident in not losing any of their customers despite their best efforts to ruin the fight game and sadly they're right about it. There will still be enough PPV buyers and enough money to be made in other less intriguing fights to not make sense to risk it all in a big fight like this.

dont you think a 50-50 split is more than fair for both sides?

OK now, I know Mayweather deserves the higher purse in this fight, since he is the MAIN guy here, BUT, if he want's this fight to happen then he is going to have to settle for 50/50 split. He is already asking for May 5th which Arum obviously don't want to make it that day, PLUS he is asking bigger purse. This fight won't happen.

I say Arum settles for May 5th and Mayweather settles for 50/50 split!!!
