WOW!!!! Floyd is a great boxer and is very smart he takes advantage of the opportunities and everyone falls for his devious plans which always benefit him. But the real question is whether he(Mayweather) really wants to fight Manny?, And if Manny really wants to fight Floyd? First it was said that the 50-50 split was a done deal and the day was the only problem now Mayweather said there is no way he is splitting it 50-50 because Manny will make the most money he has ever made by fighting him. "Really" That’s the argument! Mayweather will make the most money he's ever made by fighting Manny, the argument works both ways so if that's the problem how about 60-40 the winner takes 60, loser 40. They are both great fighters, they both will make the most ever, and they both think they’re the best ever so the winner will be rewarded and more importantly the true fans of boxing will be rewarded.

Dan, Arum's proposed May 26 date sounds disingenuous to me. Memorial Day weekend? How much revenue will they lose because half the country is relaxing/traveling/etc.? You wouldn't do a big American fight Fourth of July weekend.

I agree. I think May 26 is a ****** date for just that reason. You leave a ton on the table by going on a weekend where people are not watching television, much less spending probably $75 to watch a PPV.
