Comments Thread For: Promoting Rather Than Panicking Salvages NBC Show

When Kathy Duva had her dinner interrupted last Friday to find out that Eddie Chambers wouldn’t be along for the ride in this weekend’s premiere episode of NBC Sports Fight Night, she didn’t panic.

No matter how Main Events tries to spin this, I was only interested in the show b/c it featured two name heavyweights who can still fight a bit. Now, who cares? Thanks, Eddie Chambers.

The ladies of main events are bringing it back to the free screen in a big way. Wishing much success to the first of many boxing shows to free tv

This is a MUCH better show potentially then the damn snore-bore of a Chambers/Laikovich fight!! I can't imagine anyone wanting to see a boring fight between a powerless fighter going against a guy who was just knocked out! The winner would still be used up. Two unbeaten heavyweights at least has the potential to produce a new name.

You don't understand boxing at all, Liakhovich was winning on points with Helenius, he missed and lost the fight, nothing to be ashamed of. This is about level of boxing and nothing else. Duva is desperate here, she is so full of it... This show is a joke! who will watch this?

                    I will be watching.

It's not always about the highest level. I watch college football, even though they arent the supreme teams out there.

I also watch a multitude of soccer leagues around the world, all different levels. Some good, some mediocre.
