Anyone else really excited about ALEXANDER-MAIDANA

As the fight gets closer, we'll all get more excited.

I am rooting for Maidana, but I like Alexander also so I wouldn't mind seeing him win. But I really want Maidana to win.

Will this fight be at Welterweight? Or Junior?

I would have to disagree, Rome. I have seen, what seems to be, the best of Devon Alexander in his last three bouts and I am not convinced he will win a fair fight. That is, his only chance of winning is through another hometown decision. I have felt Maidana has been draining himself to make the weight (of 140 lbs.) and we will see how both men will grow into the new division.

Alexander will definitely have his moments in this fight but Maidana makes him fold in several occasions. The fact that this is being held in St. Louis still worries me however..

I hope your right,I like Maidana more so then I like Alexander tbh..But Maidana has not impress me outside of the Ortiz fight(and let's be honest,Ortiz is not that good)...Maidana went life and death with Chop Chop got beat badly by Khan,and has not really fought up to his level since..Alexander has been fighting top fighters back to back,I don't know why but I have a feeling that ALexander will beat Maidana convincingly..I hope I'm wrong,but I have a gut feeling...

Because Devin throws pathetic excuses for punches at this level. Doesn't even attempt to sit down on his punches. He pumps like 50 range jabs a round. You don't get credit for that, sorry.

Williams is exciting as hell though I don't know who would say otherwise.

And the fight's at Welter. Curious to see how each carry the weight. Hope it doesn't make Maidana sluggish.

the judges arent going to get away with robbing alexanders opponents for every fight

and i've heard conflicting reports that it's 10 rounds
i've actually heard more about it going ten than 12

he went ten against mathysse and it was unbelievably lame
