Wlad vs Brewster makes more sense because Byrd is used to sitting on the sidelines and waiting. Byrd is losing it at this stage and the longer it is till he fights Wlad the worse its gonna be for him!

so is it gonna be oleg vs toney?

despite his winning streak, i dont think oleg really deserves a real title shot. hes a very inconsistent fighter, a problem not shared by james toney.

besides, who the **** is gonna want to pay to see oleg vs rahman?

wasnt it oleg that knocked rahman out the ring? I dont think wlad could hang with rahmans power especially with his shakey chin and i also think toney would beat wlad with his consisten preasure

Do you have any idea how desperate and wounded you look making the exact same post 4 times in a row?

Vitali couldn't make it through a training camp at 34 years old without hurting himslef.. What makes you think he'll come off two + years of inactivity and be any LESS injury prone?

You need to let it go. I know you're deeply upset, but it's time to move on.

Here's how it's gonna work, official word: (and being a Toney fan, i'll all for it)

The WBC's Board of Governors has voted to elect James Toney as the official challenger against newly appointed WBC heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman.

Rahman vs. Toney is the scheduled fight that is taking place now. The winner of the bout between Rahman and Toney must face Maskaev with no intervening voluntary defense. Wladimir Klitschko was dropped from consideration after the report that he will fight for the championship of a different organization.

Wlad needs a belt to increase his marketability. Think about what would bring more money: Wlad vs. Brewster for WBO belt or Wlad vs. Brewster as WBO and IBF unification fight (which we haven't seen for a while).

Ya, not much is left but to be optimistic. I want to believe that we will have a new guy(s) in a year or two who will ****e things up a little. Today we have 4 LEFTOVER CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD

Wlad vs Brewster in Germany makes the most money, regardless of it being a unification fight.

The Brewster fight is the more important fight for Wlad, and in Byrd he'd be cherry picking a smaller light hitting opponent he's already beat.

King controlls both of those fighters, and it's very unlikely he lets Wlad fight them back to back.

Wlad should man up, and try and avenge his loss to Brewster. With Vitali now retired, no one's left to do it for him.

This is how things are going to go. Toney's going to beat Rahman and Maskaev. Wlad's going to beat Brewster and then fight Toney and beat him. Then Chris Byrd is going to either give up his belt or get knocked out.

I am not 100% sure Wlad believes that he will definitely beat Brewster - I know I don't. If he fights Brewster and looses again - he is done, gone, and forgotten. Fighting Byrd is a no-risk fight for Wlad, it would probably bring as much money in Germany.
