Well yea its not hard to hit pac since he doesnt have a great defense like mayweather, but i expected hatton to back up floyd.

I mean, he fought both guys, but Pac KTFO him and enbarrassed him. Now that Pac-May may happen, Hatton is rooting for Floyd to avenge him :P

What an awesome quote. Ricky Hatton is about the only British fighter I can respect. The man had decent skills and he respects others skills even if he doesn't like the guy.

oscar and hatton still hold hugeeeee grudges on manny lol

styles make fights and these 2 are sure going to make things interesting i dont think itll be a easy fight for either .
What I find hilarious is the how you totally ignore the difference between the times , a name is not always representative of the best of that name , 160 lb ODH that Floyd fought is a world of difference from the waif 145 lb ODH who fought Pac , Oscar had never been that weight since he was a LW .

And Hatton was already mentally beat , he was never the same after Floyd stopped him , Hatton looked crap in his comeback fights then changed trainer and looked worse .

They are not all the same on any given night , you kids just go with the name , the notch on the handle , its so much more than just the name .

Why do you think DLH that Floyd fought was so good, you know the one who lost to BH and only beat mayorga of all people? How do you know DLH was ever the same? BH ruins people.

He wasnt his prime thats obvious , but 15 lbs in weight is huge , 145 lb Oscar is a ruined waif , 160 lb Oscar is as good as he can be at the time , which was a time before looking ordinary against SJ , then Pac fought him , so either way whether you want the time frame or weight it really doesnt matter , the Oscar Floyd fought was way netter than the Oscar Pac fought , its not about knowing , its common sense kid just look at ALL the facts .

                hmmmn...

it took floyd 10 rounds to stopped hatton...

pac put him to sleep (in a brutal fashoion) in less than 6 minutes...

                should'nt hatton be singing a different tune?...lol

also, hatton picked cotto to win vs pac....

De la Hoya was very poor against Pacquiao but there's something that never gets mentioned about the fight: it was Oscar doing the chasing. When Floyd "retired", Oscar went for Hatton and Pacquiao. It was always going to be 147. People tried to stop the fight happening because it didn't look fair - De la Hoya was supposed to be too big for Pacquiao. It was supposed to be an easy win. Now it's talked about as if Pacquaio cherry picked Oscar and everyone knew the bigger man would be dead at the weight. Most Boxingscene writers had De la Hoya by KO.

We are not talking about cherry picking you dumb *** , we are talking about the fact of Oscar turning up a dehydrated waif , not Pacs fault in the least , but dont claim the win like its some big accomplishment because Oscar was dead on his feet before the bell sounded , Manny beat a shadow of Oscar and thats a fact .

Its embarassing but being KTFO on the 2nd round at your best weight and having the KO being used as a highlight in every Pac fight after that would.
