    Junior welterweight contender Ruslan Provodnikov (24-1, 13KOs) is now working with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. Provodnikov is training for his ESPN televised fight against David Torres (21-2-2, 13KOs), which takes place on January 27th at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

      he;s tough like margarito. . not quite as tough, but who is?

      but he's A LOT more technically refined. . he's your prototypical boxer-puncher. . . very good basics, good jab, good 1-2. . nice, straight, accurate punches. . good speed, good power, but not great. . .

      reminds me of a mikkel kessler type. . .

          man, provodnikov comes out of sparring sessions looking beat up


          hopefully they can work on his defense, or he's going to have a rough time climbing the ladder

          he is a very entertaining fighter, though
          with a good chin and a solid workrate.


          i'd be shocked if he ever gets a W over somebody in the top 15 or so

              Cheers for the info.Anytime on the 2 or 3 occasions ive seen him hes coming foward and his face is a mess ha.I suppose the ultimate Antonio Margarito tribute act is on the main undercard fight Ji Hoon Kim a man who gets insulted if you miss him
