Ward deserves one easy fight after winning the Super Six. I'm cool with this rematch, but only if it takes place in Denmark.

He didn't call out Chavez. He was asked if he would fight him by Mexican Press and said he hypotetically if Chavez moves up he would consider it. The Mexicans then took his comments out of context.

He almost certainly doesn't want to fight Kessler again, and having Kessler's promoter offer him money to come to Denmark doesn't necessarily indicate that Ward has any desire to do so.

I dont think he'd have any problem fighting Bute but Bute will demand 50% of everything, location, gloves, ring size, promotional duty, etc etc. Bute has done nothing to prove he has any real desire to make the Ward fight himself.

It would be nice to see Andre Ward fight outside of his comfort zone and outside of this country. Every other fighter in the Super-Six has done it and I think Ward would beat Kessler anywhere. This is a good opportunity to quiet all the people who thinks his wins are from being at home. That's what champs are made of...

Being honest, Kessler v Ward would have been likely the final of the Super Six had Mikkel not dropped out. Kessler is still arguably the second best SMW in the world, so it's not a bad match up.

what's the point of this rematch?
ward has become a better fighter since he fought kessler while kessler only fought once since. ward will give him a worse beating if they fight again.

Why? There's no reason for this.

                    Because of:

1: The conroversy of the first fight.
2: Kessler's status as WBC champion emeritus
                    3: Huge purse for Ward
4: Given the fact that Ward won't fight Bute who else is there?

Ward has said that he wants to prove that he can win without cheating.

Kessler wants to prove that he had a bad day. I believe he will have one again but I think it is great to show the idiots in here that he is NOT afraid of anyone.

I say go for it Kessler. If you lose, retire. Maybe get that Bute guy first, just for laughs.
