I found this on a documentary and cut it out. A few seconds of the Great Sam Langford talking about his blindness:

I was posting this thread, then I saw nobody replied in quite some time. Then I thought to myself: this is the proof that 99 per cent of the little kids who post on this forum dont know jack***** about boxing history. All these *****s and *******s here discuss about there hero's place in boxing history (Floyd or Pacquiao), but they don't know ***** about boxing history before the Mike Tyson era.
I bet 95 per cent of the posters on this forum don't know who Sam Langford is, and that's why I don't discuss boxing with the little kids on this forum. None of you have any clue about anything outside of "Floyd vs Pacquiao" or Tyson.
Bunch of losers posting here.Comment

Sam and Greb are probably my all time favourite fighters.
I personally like Sam because of the stories of the sheer confidence he displayed in the ring. I.e knocking men out before they knew it and telling them that he is going to and then doing it.
The face that he had something like 300 fights, was avoided a rematch by johnson and fought the end of career almost blind shows me that he had something inside him that was interesting to say the least.
Wish i could see more footage of Sam and definatly Greb!Comment
