yeah this is the fight i want to see canelo go after next...not floyd. canelo is neither ready or deserving of a floyd fight imo. seriously, what has he done in his almost 40 fight career to deserve a matchup with one of the best fighters in the world? I respect his willingness to go after floyd, but someone needs to tell him to sit back down.

I'm with floyd Sr. on this subject, No need for Floyd to keep fighting JMW's big azz 160+ guys, Floyd is a relatively small Welter and he already has won the JMW title from Oscar, so he's been there an done that. No need for the wear and tear fighting all these big dudes, don't get me wrong floyd would most likely still win, but when someone outweighs you by 15-20 pounds eventually you will meet your match or make your self susceptible to injury...

Pac is small (compared to Mayweather) and will be easily potshotted on the outside against Mayweather because of his limited defensive ability. Pac will likely be reduced to lunging trying to connect on Mayweather, which will lead to him being countered to death. And on the occassions where he's able to get inside, Mayweather will simply tie him up to blunt his attack. Pac's lone chance against Mayweather is to suprise him with his speed early, catch him, and finish him. Which is a fancy way of saying he has a puncher's chance.

On the other hand, Canelo will outweigh Mayweather at least 20lbs on fight night. Canelo is also very heavy handed. Yes, he's a little slow. But he's fluid with the way he let's his hands go. Mayweather isn't using his legs like he once did. Nowadays, he's sitting and making guys miss in the pocket. He's also making guys hit him on the arms and shoulders a lot. With someone Caleno's size and as heavy handed as he is, that could lead to trouble as the fight progresses. If Canelo doesn't get frustrated by not hitting his target and continues to hit what he can. I think stamina could become an issue for an aging Mayweather. Money will and should be a solid favorite. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him have to dig deep to pull out a tougher than expected win.

Canelo is ready but I'm sure this will breakdown...then Guerrero comes in as the final choice.

I like Canelo and think he is the best young talent in boxing

But fighting Mayweather is too soon, he needs time to mature and improve his defense. He has no head movement, is a stationery fighter and has a suspect jaw

It would be a great fight but Floyd would easily beat him, probably knocking him out in 6.

              ...Pacquiao or Martinez
