              It's like some of you didn't read the article. He gives a good account of himself on the chin issue. The combo of inactivity and bad handlers on his comeback before Wolfe is a 'benefit of the doubt' most should be willing to give. Gives a spot on analogy with another full contact sport, going in a game geared up after a long layoff not reused to the feel of a hard tackle, the effects of rust/incarceration formidable in dealing with.

                      Kirkland is a powerful and exciting fighter but he just doesn't have the capacity to defend himself properly. Together with his dodgy chin, that will always betray him in elite company.
