  • Comments Thread For: Tomasz Adamek at Odds With Main Events Over Terms

Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs) is still a free agent. The Polish star is looking to return in the coming months, but a new promotional deal is delaying the boxer's plan. Adamek is discussing a contract extension with Main Events, but he doesn't like the current terms being presented. He hopes to return in March. The fight was last seen in September, getting knocked out by Vitali Klitschko in ten rounds.

Please have that rematch with Arreola, and let the winner face Wladimir

      tree at the same time

let's put adamek and arreola at the same time vs any of the klitshko's. That's fair. This two (adamek and arreola) are class c heavy weights while the Klitscows are class A. two against one is pretty fair, don't you think so ? nitramzaid@hotmail.com

such a boring division & Klitch's are champs cuz they're in the right generation...the last 3 of 4 they wouldn't be in the the top 5...

The terms of Adamek's contract should read:

          - Mr Adamek will not fight bums
          - Mr Adamek will definitely not fight bums in his hometown
          - Mr Adamek will absolutely, positively not fight bums in his hometown, edge out a fat waster, then be considered a genuine heavyweight contender

McBride, Maddalone, shot Golota and shot Grant would all lose to Audley Harrison, yet somehow Adamek is held up as some kind of brave warrior where Haye's an embarassing coward. I count two good wins on Adamek's record, and neither is a clear one.

The Cunningham fight was clear as shit, brutal domination. I gave Cunningham only 2 rounds against 10.

OK, so let's give Adamek clear wins over Arreola and Cunningham. So who've Arreola and Cunningham beaten?

In what way is fighting Vinny Maddalone, a man who was being considered for Tyson Fury before he even won the British title, a suitable opponent for a true heavyweight contender?
