Salido wins by late TKO (11).

Juanma was doing well in the first rounds with Salido, but then he got careless as usual. I assume he's coming to box but once he gets buzzed he will go back to his usual self. Expect him to have better spots than the first fight and his heart ATTEMPTING to gain the moral victory by reaching the final bell but it will not happen. Salido might be expecting a shady decision in Puerto Rico so he will come to try and take out Juanma.

Juanma will make mistakes trying to catch Salido with a bomb, get punished and start the inevitable decline around the 7th/8th round, after that...he gets stopped in the 11th or 12th round.

I WANT Juanma to win, but I'm convinced Salido's already won.

Hey Tinta!! Hey do you know or anyone how much tickets cost for the fight?? It's in Puerto Rico right?? How much would a ticket cost around. I dont want arena seats, I want the ones behind that like the ones where the seats are angled but still close to the ring.

Great post. I can see it going down just like you said. But, you never know, this all hinges on the same (or better) Salido showing up for the rematch. That's not a foregone conclusion. JuanMa's not getting a lot of support, even from the P.R. fans. I suspect that has a lot to do with his reputation as a prima donna. I agree "Siri" is the favorite; but I only favor him slightly. Lopez is no walk in the park.

You can buy them on ticketcenter.com and get an idea of the different seatings and prices. However, their diagrams suck ass as they don't show you WHERE exactly you'll be seating from the ring itself. It just shows you how many seats are available in the section you're browsing.

In any case, I'd just buy them in person. I usually just go to a record store (or any place selling tickets) and buy them from there.

Remember, if you plan on taking pictures, DO NOT buy the ringside seats as the ropes will get in the way of the pictures you try to take. You should definitely take the ones that are closest to the ring, but placed ABOVE the top ropes. I'd estimate that they are the THIRD most expensive tickets (the ones you're looking for). They're probably anywhere between $150-$200...much cheaper than the ones in the US, I bet. Anyway, good luck! Glad to see you back on the forums!

I'm hoping Lopez takes it. Either way if it goes to decision Salido is getting robbed. Maybe then Lopez can finally get in the ring with Caballero or Gamboa.

I think JuanMa can win IF he defends the looping right hand that Salido throws. If he can't do that, the longer the fight goes the worse it's going to be for JuanMa.

I have a feeling JuanMa gets a UD.

Just like you emphasized, Cuauhtémoc, that's a big "if." It hardly ever works out that way. I can see JuanMa getting hit with that shot as often as he did in the first fight. "Siri" will be coming forward for a full twelve rounds (or however long the fight lasts). Unless Lopez can land a big shot, I can't see him keeping pace for the entire length of the fight. This isn't Mtagwa he's fighting. That said, I think this is nearly a 50/50 fight, with the odds slightly in Salido's favor.

the looping right hand can be a hard punch to defend at times especially when you're used to straight rights

I didn't see Lopez doing well for any part of that fight. I thought after the 2nd round the writing was on the wall. He was getting clipped with big right hands the entire fight, he looked like crap the whole way.
