Overlapping eras of 2 dominant fighters meeting in an awesome fight. It had everything, even the perfect result to keep spectators debating who would actually have won.

Truth be told... this was a pairing of two top 5 alltime great heavyweights when all bias is removed & how many times has that happened in our lifetime. We have never seen alltime great bigs 6ft 5 & over throwing bombs at each other & going toe to toe in that fashion before or since that bout. These two fighters had nowhere to go... they were both in each others wheelhouse.. both had to land there punches from a distance as everytime they got close.. they were tied up. LL had more experience on the inside & did more damage than Vitali while they were tied up.


From long distance it was Vitali who was getting the better of all of the exchanges because of his ability to land punches from every conceivable angle. Lewis was being overwhelmed like he never had beforee. He was being outboxed thoroughly when both were squared up to the point where his inside game saved him. Sure cuts stopped the fight but in no way shape or form did Vitali concede anything to Lewis in those 6 rds.. He was as ready to go onto the next rd as Lewis was & that's where all the debate rages.


A dr. at ringside called the fight.... it was a dr's opinion that stopped the bout.. LL had nothing to do with that decision.. he just caused the cuts.. the referee didn't deem it necessary to stop the bout because at no point in the fight was Klitschko not holding his own or was failing to protect himself.. even in the last 10 seconds when he got caught he was defending himself by holding onto Lewis & zapping his energy. Way too much credit is given to Lewis for the stoppage from everyone who actually saw what was happening in that bout..


Lewis was saved that night because of a cut.. that will always be the bottom line as Vitali proved beyond a shadow of the doubt who the better boxer was & no TKO6 loss on his record will ever change that. Vitali Klitschko is the only boxer in history to retire the last 3 fighters he's ever fought... this is a fact & 4 of the last 12 if we're counting the only alltime great he's ever had the luxury of fighting.

Is that the extent of your vocabulary..... son? Surely you jest. Nah... to what part? Vitali has NAHT retired 4 of the last 12 fighters he's fought including his last 3 opponents? Did Vitali NAHT throw & land more punches than Lewis IN EACH & EVERY RD.... i'LL TELL you the last time a fighter has lost in that fashion. it's naht ever happened before. Vitali Klitschko is the only fighter who outlanded his opponent in each & every rd & lost due to a cut.. Vitali is a legend and his record speaks for itself. You wont get me to say anything bad about him but in regards to the Lewis fight he got stopped fair and square at the end of the 6th. Get over it.

No matter how you look at it, whatever excuses you make, how long your posts are etc it cant change the simple fact that prime Klitschko got stopped by a washed up, over weight Lewis.
