Bute is really underrated

Yes his resume is pretty weak and he isn't as proven as Ward Froch and Kessler. But you people seem to be underrating his talent. He is a legitimately explosive puncher with elite hand speed, great boxing IQ and great defense.

His physical tools are the best I have seen in the division since Roy Jones.

sure is. Wouldn't go as far as what you said at the end (bout Roy) but if Bute vs froch get's made alot of people are going to be shocked at how well Bute will do.

He is definetly untested, his physical skills are going to look great against weak opponents, but he hasn't had much opposition to face with the best in his weight in the Super Six.

Hopefully this year Bute will get a fight with Ward(doubt it), Froch, Kessler, Abraham, Taylor, or one of the Dirrells.... but until then, you can't say he is underrated when his best opponent is Glen Johnson.

The way he dominated Sakio Bika using just his pure physical gifts was super impressive compared to Bika's fights with Calslappy/Ward and the trouble he gave them.

He's a good fighter, but he really needs to step it up. I'm sure he will soon. He seems to want to fight the best.
