You throw these words like "******" around very freely. Are you aware what it actually means?? Not the sort of thing to throw on someone who disagrees with you. How can you have meaningful discussion with an "agreeable person"......?? I, and every normal boxing enthusiast know that Arum went to Showtime for one fight, but his relationship with HBO is just the same as always, meaning...good. Although he and all the other promoters have a legitimate complaint against the "special deal" given to Golden Balls. His duty is to maximize the income from every source including HBO, and he balances the fees with the long term advantages. HBO needed a little lesson and Arum gave it to them. The same way he took the MannyP-Margarito fight away from Las Vegas, not even bothering to apply for a licence.

Most of the decent posters have been chased away from this site by a huge influx of foul-mouthed, lunatic conspiracy obsessed crazies. I don't class you as one of them, but you do jump into some silly, half-baked convictions with no facts.

As Elvis once said in a movie, something like " believe only half what you see and none of what you read (hear?).....".

arums the only one stopping the mayweather pacquiao fight not floyd and now that the truth is out you still blame floyd for reasons unbeknownst to me and everybody else. you can be a fan of manny and not a fan of arum. not sure if you knew that. anyways as i said all the facts are out now and its blatantly obvious that toprank is stoping the fight not floyd. if you continue to blame despite all of the facts then i have to belief your a racist or you are blinded by ratial/national pride and are not intelligent enough to see its bob arum. thats why i called you a ******.

None of this. On a global scale Bob Arum is small potatoes til' Manny wins the Phillipine Presidency. At that point Bob Arum becomes de facto ruler of a powerful island nation and thus a global player. Then the NYT will write flowery prose.

Boxing isn't big enough to show up on their radar.
