Okay so you guys apparently have an issue comprehending....In 2010 Mayweather and Pacquaio were negotiating a March 13th bout. That would have been 2 months of promoting....Freddy Roach is claiming a bout with Mayweather and Pacquaio can't be made for May 5th because there is no time to promote.

Two extra months get it....the same amount of time it took to promote Mayweather v Mosley and Mayweather v DeLaHoya

If Pacquiao and Arum REALLY wanted this fight it would be DONE!

If Mayweather REALLY wanted this fight it would be DONE!

At some point one of them has to make a concession but neither one wants to make a concession.

Plus, there are just too many people involved in their negotiations.

They could not do any promotion tours and still break the ppv record.

Mayweather proposed the May 5 and Freddie wanted March, because Manny was supposedly running for election. Mayweather, then accepted March, and Freddy said no, they needed more time to train and Prepare Pac because Mayweather is a difficult style. Mayweather then said Ok, let's fight May and then Pac rushed to fight Clottey in March.

It's surprising how amnesia becomes a convenience with regards to Pacfans. They do not want the fight and never did. Any loophole they get to dodge they will take it.

Just like Floyd vs Cotto, Margarito and Williams in their prime. It only took 2 months for Floyd....wait a minute...it is just 2 months, 2 years, 2 decades when Floyd fought them or he faked his retirement because of the welterweight divison was too much for Floyd to handle?

              ^^^ This.

Those two fights were basically in boxing buzz for years. De La Hoya/Mayweather was being hyped for basically one year to the day, when Oscar beat Mayorga and Floyd was in attendance...Mosley/Mayweather was also discussed at that time (but was in consideration by some boxing fans for much longer than that), but the more lucrative fight was against Oscar.

arum is going to kill this fight just out of pure greed. he wants to cash in big time... longest promotion time possible.... 40k stadium.... wants floyd to accept top ranks guarantee etc. i really feel if this mindset goes on that the fight will never happen. pac already seems to be on the decline, it's just a matter of time before someone beats him.
