Middleweight contender Marco Antonio Rubio (53-5, 46KOs) explained that his agreed-upon purse for the bout with WBC middleweight champion Julio César Chávez Jr. (44-0-1, 31KOs) is not the best of his career. Rubio has been trying to get Chavez in the ring for a very long time and the money was secondary in the deal. He says the sacrifice of money will pay off in the long run. The important thing is beating Chavez on February 4th in San Antonio, Texas.
