Hear me out.
Whether or not it's made right now, which I don't think it is, I think that fight has a better chance to be made before May-Pac, after hearing Arum and Pac refuse the Floyd fight.
Bob Arum wants to get as much money from Pacquiao as possible, but if he throws him in with a fight he could lose, he wants it to be with someone he can also capitalize on. If Bob actually tries to make the Floyd fight and Manny loses, he deosn't capitalize big time after that.
However, if he puts Manny in there with Bradley in June or November 2012 and Manny loses.....Bob has his next star, Timothy Bradley. If Bradley were to beat Manny, he would become one of the top 1 or 2 fighters in the world and would have done it on a major PPV fight. He would definitely become a star and Bob will have gotten everything from Manny that he wanted, while capitalizing on future profit with Bradley beating Manny.
I want Mayweather-Pacquiao, May 5th, but Arum and Pac don't. That's the most logical date, no doubt, and Manny has ABSOLUTELY NO LEGIT REASON TO REFUSE THE FIGHT FOR MAY 5TH, NONE AT ALL.
But, mark my words, Pacquiao-Bradley happens before Mayweather-Pacquiao, probably in November 2012.
Also, how is November 2012 a better date than May 5th for Floyd-Manny???? May 5th is historically the biggest boxing weekend for PPV's and Floyd would be 2-3 months removed from jail in November. Not to say Late November wouldn't be fine, but how in the world is that date better than May 5th???
