Personally I think Hopkins knows enough at this point that it doesn't matter who squirts the water in his mouth,.

      More on this from b-talk.

"Those in attendance at Big Bear were able to witness firsthand some of the boxing skills that make Hopkins an almost certain first-ballot Hall of Famer. As Hopkins shadowboxed for three rounds, his graceful footwork, effortless rhythm, and punching form were all plainly evident. A few rounds of mitt work followed before Hopkins, the Executioner moved over to the heavy bag. Then, as he was getting toweled off, Hopkins gave us the bad news about Bouie Fisher, who was con****uously absent.

Bouie Fisher is not well. The 77 year old longtime trainer of Hopkins could not make it to training camp, and will probably not be in attendance at the Mandalay Bay on fight night. Out of respect for the privacy of the Fisher family, Hopkins would not go into specifics regarding Bouie’s condition. He did however mention that Brother Naazim is handling training duties for the Taylor rematch."

bt interviewed taylors trainer and asked him if it'll make a differents with hopkins canning trainer and he said no.

he expects hopkins to fight all the way different then last fights.

        i'll be damned.

Sounds like it was a decision based on Bouie's health.

Hope that pumps Hopkins up, and all the best to Bouie.

First off...Bouie is "possibly" not going to be there due to health issues.
And second off, if Hopkins loses this fight, it will be because Taylor was the better fighter...IF Hopkins loses.

                Doesn't really matter anyway.

Bernard is in the position that at this point in this career, He doesn't really need a trainer during the fight.

I don't think Bouie's absence will affect much. I hope Hopkins gets hyped up for it although.
