    Bye Bye Cory Spinks

Well, Cory Spinks has yet to sign a fight and has not fought in forever. In his last match he was badly beaten by Zab Judah (The KO that is) In the second fight spinks seemed to be scared. OBviously the first match he tasted something at the end that made him tentative and scared in the second match. If spinks doesnt get into the ring soon he might as well call it quits. Even if he does step into the ring who can he truly beat at 154? Besides that he is not an easy commodity to market so he needs to move and do something. (No one likes to fight a southpaw with no power and they are a promoters worst nightmare). I think that his best days were at 147 and he seems to be too small for 154 but we shall see assuming he laces up again anytime soon. What do you all think???

spinks kinda showed up, pulled off an unpset, and then was exposed, just like his old man.

his fight with mayorga was a robbery. his fight with gonzalez was mediocre at best. his 1st fight with zab was pretty close. his 2nd fight with zab was the final nail in the coffin for cory spinks.

weather or not spinks fights again, i really dont give a ****. if he does, who cares?
if he doesnt, he wont be missed.

Cory's got skills....no denying that. He jsut needs to work on his power. If he had power in those hands, he would be unstoppable.

I never understood the hatred for Cory Spinks. Im not really a fan of dude, but I dont dislike him either. He's a skilled fighter with quick hands and solid defense. He's just feather fisted.

nah, he definately beat Mayorga. He looked very good against Gonzalez, he left his hands go in that one. I had the first fight with Zab scored a draw, but I had Judah ahead at the time of stoppage in the 2nd bout.

bingo!!! That referee screwed Mayorga against Spinks. Come on, Spinks goes down 4 times, and NO knockdowns? Bull****! That last shot to the body put Spinks down for sure. Plus, he was so quick to penalize Mayorga for ANYTHING. Spinks didn't deserve to win that fight, but I had to give him the win due to the referee's calls.

I had Judah winning 114-112 over Spinks in a close one. Just a case of Judah giving up too many rounds earlier.

Judah slaughtered the punk in the rematch

if Spinks had enough power for people to respect him he would probably be top 10 p4p. Oh, and if he had a chin.
