Show me just ONE headbutt from Peterson in the fight - he NEVER used it as a weapon. He came in put his head in Khans chest and PUMMELED him to the body and had Khan running like he was in a track meet instead of a fight. To even attempt to deny that fact is useless.
On Khan's part - he SHOULD have and COULD have been deducted points for CONTANTLY holding and putting Peterson in a "headlock". Khan had NO ANSWER for Peterson's inside game, and Peterson picked off most of Khans punches from outside. Khan got BEAT plain and simple.
The "man in the hat" was NOT talking to the Judges, the man he is seen talking to is an Official but NOT a JUDGE! This happens at fights all the time and nothing is said about it, because the Official IS NOT SCORING THE FIGHT!
This was NOT home cooking - this was a VERY good performance by Lamont Peterson and a CLEAR lack of a "Plan B" from Khan, who has ZERO inside fighting ability. Any fighter who takes the fight inside to Khan will beat him - period. The fact that one Judge had it scored as a lopsided victory for Khan should be looked into - because NOBODY who saw that fight could say than Khan was winning by a landslide. That Judge should NOT be allowed to Judge another boxing match ever again - HEwas trying to ROB Peterson without a doubt.
Peterson CLEARLY got his foot tangled with the Ref and correctly was NOT called a knockdown on the supposed knockdown you refer to.
However Khan DID receive credit for a Knockdown in which the replay showed Khan CLEARLY pushed Peterson off balance with a shoulder and then used a forearm to "push" Peterson down - there was NO PUNCH that caused a Knockdown, yet he got credited with a 10-8 RND. for it just the same.
Khan has blamed everyone except the one person he should have put the blame on - HIMSELF.
