Tim Smith of the New York Daily News is reporting that Bouie Fisher, trainer of former middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins, won't be in the corner for 'The Executioner' for his December 3rd rematch with Jermain Taylor.
No reason for the split was given, though Hopkins is scheduled to talk to the media next week. Longtime assistant trainer Brother Naazim Richardson will assume the head trainer's post in Fisher's absence.
It will interesting to see what caused the split if the source is correct.
