canelo almost has 40 fights and he hasn't really fought anyone...I don't even consider him to be a legit champ. only reason this fight would make sense is it would do really well financially especially since the fight would take place on may 5th.

          your funny.
The only reason why canelo is where he is, is because hes a mexican ginger. His skills are average, and jose cotto rocked his fragile chin. He has no good wins and is not worthy of a mayweather fight. Only mexicans will buy this for some ****** reason

It's sad to see that there is no support for Marquez from the WBC. After knowing Marquez clearly beat the Filipino. Saulaiman must have received a good Christmas gift from Pacquiao.

For once I agree with this little ****bag. I'm tired of Marquez crybaby ways and his delusional fans and their shameless ballyhoo acting like he schooled Pacquiao and wasn't getting hit in a close fight. We've seen all we need to see between Pac and Marquez, he is Pacquiao's Norton, a win for either now won't change that. It will just be another close fight and decision which Marquez and his will no doubt cry again about if he loses, or if he wins they'll claim Marquez won 4-0 like mindless monkeys ignoring what really happened in the other fights. Time to move on. Marquez should be taking care of unfinishised business with Rios and Guerrero and Pac with Mayweather.

hell yeah, fucking piece of shit. haha, he tried to say marquez talked bad about pacquiao and pacman don't need him, what an idiot. that stuff doesn't even concern him. and it's funny too, because when marquez got screwed once again out of a decision this past 2011, sulaiman was supporting marquez. guy's a two face **** that should drop dead and rot in hell along with arum. these old ass dudes are horrible for boxing. it'll be a great day when they're both long gone.
as for this fight, alvarez isn't beating mayweather. actually no one is. martinez is too big to be considered and even then i'm not too sure. mayweather should just take this and then try cotto or pacquiao when he gets released. the whole arum/team pac duck is embarrassing though, may 5th is the perfect opportunity to get the big fight finally done. lots of things can happen from june to august though, i mean look at mayweather/ortiz and how that just happened. we'll see what happens in the months to come, but i think the best option would be alvarez for now since arum is keeping cotto and pacquiao away from him.
