    ****** question...
He does not have the Heart, nor the Stamina to be the champ..

Speed and Power is not enough! Brewster, who has a very good power and speed combination, is a champ today mainly due to his HEART...

This is like asking if a car with half the tank and a good engine can drive for 100 Miles?

Problem is, the transmission is shut!
    Now you answer that question.

But besides that... Tyson has already been exposed and too many fighters can beat him today.

I had the honour of meeting Mr Tyson yesterday in London. To have him look at you straight in the eye is a very strange experience. F*%k being the man who stands in a ring with him, old or not.....it's going to be a long time before there is anybody like Mike....I think he can win the title again at the moment, he only needs to catch somebody with two or three bombs, but i'd prefer to see him earn his money some other way..

...and this is what they said before Tyson fought Williams and before he fought McBride. Wait a second.. I was one of those who was saying it

But the reality is, MIKE IS DONE! I accepted it, most of the boxing fans accepted it, even Mike Tyson himself acceted it. It's time for the rest of you nut huggers to face the reality as well.

And this coming from someone who believes James Toney will clean up the division, it's not

Coming from someone who thought Vitali did, it means very litte.

Toney is the best of a bad group, and stands a good chance of beating Raman and Byrd. I never said anything about 'cleaning up the division', but I'd certianly favor him over the other title holders.

The fact it bothers you people like a real proven fighter must sting, otherwise you wouldn't spend so much time crying about it.

You just clearly long to go back to the days when twice the hype was surrounding 1/10th the fighter.

Mike Tyson still has the power to stop most of the heavyweights at the top right now. However, he no longer has the speed nor the SHARP skills needed to compete with them. Unfortunately, Tyson will probably keep fighting, tainting whatever greatness he may have bestowed upon the public and becoming yet another story of a fighter that kept fighting too far past his prime.

Tyson was a phenomenal fighter in his prime. I remember how all of the kids at school would always come up to me talking about how awsome he was after viewing one of his bouts, Tyson had that kind of brutal appeal to the general public. Alot of time has passed since those days and it is obvious to me that the days of Tyson dominating or even being competitive are gone.

It is sad that he must keep fighting solely for the money. It is even worse though, that he was able to squander the millions of dollars that he generated during his career. Like so many before him, the people handling Tyson and the people that hung on to Tyson bled his bank account. But it was Tyson who made the decisions to piss away all of the money that was still remaining. For those reasons Tyson will still step into the ring. A deminishing shadow of a once great fighter, plugging away in the ring as a named journeyman, taking even more punishment only for the dollar.

In another thread I had written some very harsh words about him. I, in no way, take those words back. Because for all of the great things that he gave to boxing, he did just as many if not more things, to harm the image of boxing in the publics eyes.

After Biting Evanders ear off I feel that he should have been expelled from competing as a professional in the United States. But because he was the proverbial cash cow he was allowed to continue on his boxing journey.

We may have been doing him a favor if we had expelled him from fighting again, then we would not have to watch as a once great fighter is being beaten to the canvas time and time again, and for what? THE MONEY!!!
