How can anyone defend Manny Pacquiao at this point???

I mean, he's said time and time again....I will fight Floyd Mayweather, anytime, anywhere. Yet, he says May 5th is not a good date because of ecominc reasons and a cut???

He's flat out, refusing to fight Floyd on May 5th and has ABSOLUTELY NO LEGITIMATE REASON not to do so. NONE AT ALL.

How can anyone defend him refusing to fight Floyd???

Said it before and I'll say it again: Pacquiao has some of the worst fans of any athlete I've ever seen. Or loyal. Whichever. They'll defend him until the bitter end, regardless of the circumstances.

I don't see why he even needs to be defended. He did nothing wrong. He either got talked out of the Mayweather fight, or didn't want it (I believe the former). The only way someone can put blame on him is if they believe that he is either a superhero or a religious figure and are trying to hold him to a standard higher than one of the best fighters in the world. Pretending that he is greater than human is where the hardcore fans go terribly wrong.

Its the biggest Duck in history , the media are starting to see through it , the people defending Pac are only kid fanboys ,,,,

No reason for not going May 5th , non at all , the duckers cant even offer one reason to change the date but can offer 5 blowies ranging from cuts to JMM is ok but not Floyd , Floyds genuine reason dont matter , he is supposed to recover from training and fighting a super fight in jail !!

Pacfans are morons , open your eyes and you will see your dude is a Fake , he is ducking this fight in a totally bull**** shameless way ,,,

ITS A PEKING DUCK OF GIGANTIC PROPORTIONS

He did do something wrong. He went from saying "lets get it on May 5th" after his match with Marquez, to releasing a statement saying that he would request Mayweather as his next opponent, to repeating basically the same taglines that Arum has been saying - seemingly within about 10 minutes of Arum landing in the Philippines. He's a puppet. If the next doesn't happen he's just as much to blame for it as Arum is. Manny is supposed to be calling the shots, not Bob Arum.

They defended hm the first time he didn't want to fight Floyd, why should this time be any different?????

the part in the bold is so true:

              - No problem with May 5th and the cut when May was going to be in Jail.
              - May 5th is the best date in that month to have a fight.
              - Bob and his cronies can put together a stadium in late May, but 2 weeks before that and it couldn't possibly be done (lamest excuse to begin with)

Nothing but excuse after excuse from Manny!!!!!

There are certainly people out there who will continue to defend the Aflac duck. They don't defend him because of their love for Pacquiao, they do it for their hatred of Mayweather. Manny has been billed as the yin to Floyd's yang. A symbol of hope for all of those who just want to see Floyd humbled. It can be as plain as a sunny day that Manny 'Aflac' Pacquiao was just promoted off of Floyd's name, but the defenders don't care. They're crackpots who live in their own heads. They represent the kids with vivid imaginations and imaginary friends, now into adulthood. They can defend him all they want. Their defending a fraud anyway. Since his fight with Marquez in 2008, he hasn't had 1 legit fight since. Marquez was dragged up in hopes of being slowed down by added weight. Even if he would've destroyed JMM, it would've been easy to discredit. He looked ordinary against him so that scenario turned out worse than it would've been if he knocked him out. There's no defending him.
