Martinez is a good opponent for Gamboa before a potential Rios fight; Martinez is a strong Jr. Lightweight that wants to apply pressure, fight on the inside, and land his power shots. It'll be interesting to see how Gamboa handles the pressure. If Gamboa handles Martinez as well as I expect, people will be changing their opinion on the Rios fight.

Burgos would've been another good option, but other than Molin, Martinez is th best option. I want to see the fight.
