This is kind of pathetic in my view. Rahman will be presented with the WBC title on Dec 20th (why that distant of a date, I don't know).

But Vitali has the option to become the #1 contender for the WBC belt whenever he returns if he does which many expect he will when he is good and ready.

Well we will see if he waits for Rahman to get beat and then just pops back up he was scared of him....If he never comes back and Rahman hangs on o the strap for a while we will know he was scared

Awesome news! Nah, I think he should be in the top 10 but I don't know about an automatic #1. Still, awesome news!

your ****** dude, why would a fighter sign on to fight someone and then go through training camp be scared of someone else, injuries happen and this year was a reall bad one for Klitschko, hopefully his body recovers fine in about 5-6 months and he can make a comeback which plenty of people think he will, then he will face anybody that holds the wbc wether it Rahman or anyone else except his brother ofcourse....

No one in sports has ever been successful while being afraid of the competition, let alone heavyweight champion. To suggest otherwise just displays immaturity and ignorance.

If Lennox Lewis came back he would be made the number one contender also because he was the last man prior to Klitschko to hold the WBC belt. There is nothing wrong with making Klit the number one guy.

...Absolutely, and anyone who thinks big V was afraid of Rahman is kidding themselves or just being an ass on purpose.
