As a fan I agree with your assessment. This kid has balls and is not backing from anyone.
However from knowing this sport and watching it for over 20 years I can tell you that WV2 is not being protected like the other fighters you allude to because well... he just doesn't generate $$ like the other two. If he was more popular or had Arum as his full promoter I'd guarantee you he wouldn't be fighting Donaire.
