    Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has given Floyd Mayweather Jr. until Saturday to get the ball rolling on a late-May welterweight unification with Manny Pacquiao, according to information provided to Sports Illustrated. Mayweather, who is scheduled to return on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - will have to agree to a date in late May - but Arum is willing to bend on the venue. Arum will back away from his plan of an outdoor venue and stage the fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

                      Arum is trying to save face. He knows Floyd has to turn himself in on June 1st. Even though I"m pretty sure Floyd is going to route Manny and not suffer any serious damage Floyd is going to need some time to recover.

                      I hope Mayweather calls their bluff.

                          LOL at Arum making deadlines. Is he going to put another "money countdown clock" on the Top Rank website? Does he think the public is that ******? Floyd has an agreement with the courts that he intends to fight on the 5th...and Team Pac has not given a good reason as to why that date won't work.
