Floyd Mayweather Jr. Roach says, Floyd was always their first choice, stating “He's the easiest fight of the three” (Mosley, Cotto, Mayweather Jr.) He went on to say “Where's the greatness? At 135 and 140 he was great but not at 147 0r 154.”

im tired of all this *****.. either team pac needs to just accept the may 5th date or team mayweather needs to accept a date later in may. i dont understand why floyd cant change the date to later in may if thats what team pac claims is the only problem left. if floyd can postpone all his court dates and going to jail im pretty damm ****ing sure he can change the date to late may. its not like floyd is asking to postpone his jail time until november or anything, he's still going to jail in june and the fight would be over by then. both team needs to work together, if team pac now agree to floyd's ost demand and such why cant floyd just agree to fight in late may since this is what team pac is claiming so why not just call their bluff?

one thing i know for sure is floyd aint trying to do his jail time with a busted up face or bruise ribs. win or lose floyd aint leaving the ring clean with no scratch. just look at all pac's opponents minus ninja turtle clottey.

Love how the seed of doubt from Arum about the date has sprouted up in his grandchildren.

Hang in there bud, the sun will shine.

Its not that tweets, smart guy, its the litany of pathetic excuses that have come out of Team Pac's mouths ever since the tweets. Go deflect somewhere else.

                    Pacquiao agrees to smaller purse
                    Will Mayweather take the bait?

MANILA, Philippines — The ball is now in Floyd Mayweather’s court.

Manny Pacquiao said from his home in General Santos City that he is going the extra mile in making sure the proposed super fight with the brash and unbeaten American fighter finally happens in 2012.

Pacquiao is willing to take the smaller piece of the pie as long as the dream fight takes place.

“Walang problema kahit pa mas maliit ang premyo ko,” said Pacquiao, who turned 33 on Saturday. “Ang importante ay matuloy lang ang laban.”

Pacquiao’s pronouncement that he is giving Mayweather the lion’s share of the pot only puts credence that he is moving heaven and earth to make it happen.

The purse split should never be a problem no matter what Pac has agreed to in filipino media.

50/50 is the only fair thing.
