Evander Holyfield.. are there ten heavyweights better than him

now & are there ten better heavyweights ever? In other words can you people name ten better alltime than him & can you name ten better that are active that are better than him now at 50? My answer is no to both questions...what's yours? Where does Evander "Real Deal" Holyfield stand today & in historical perspective? Leave the hate & the steroid accusations at the door. is EVANDER top 10 today & alltime based on all the heavyweights we've seen ever & what we've seen in modern times?

If your talking about comparing prime for prime than:

    Tyson
    Holmes
    Foreman
    Ali
    Frazier
    Liston
    Louis
    Johnson

Are the only one's i think are better. As much as i hate Holyfield there ain't many better.

As far as accomplishments go, there might not be 10 Heavyweights that can be ranked ahead of him. If it's H2H, he'd do good against the best, but he's struggled against good, slick fighters; I'd favor the Charles', Walcott's, Bowe's over him, but he'd do great against some of the other greats.

Resume-wise: Johnson, Holmes, Lewis, Louis, Ali, Foreman, Marciano
He stacks up pretty decently head to head. Probably have Holmes, Lewis, Ali beating him certainly. The rest are damned tough fights both ways.

Holyfield is a top 10 ATG.

Top 10 now certainly debatable. I think he beat Valuev and hasnt lost since so should be a defending world champ.

I think Holyfield was past it when he faced Lewis, a younger and fresher Holyfield would win a close fight.
Holyfield is easily top 10, but can he enter top 5? Hmm.
