Nonsense, If Marquez didn't want it with Khan then he's not going to want to fight Peterson either..

Peterson is way too big for Marquez for one and was rumored to have given floyd probably one of the most toughest sparring matches of his life, and we seen what Floyd did to Marquez. Stylistically it's just not a good fight for Marquez just based on the difference in natural size, lamont is bigger than khan and is pretty much a full welterweight...

what did FLoyd do to Marquez? He just hit him more and stayed away from him, Marquez was never hurt he was just too small for Floyd.

I like that match up at 140 I see Marquez winning this fight if it happens I think this fight will be a classic two guys that love to fight and swing hard.

Nice fight. Peterson came forward vs Khan because thats the style he had to use to win the fight. He might have to reconsider that approach vs one of the best counter punchers in the game.

Likewise Marquez cant expect Peterson to stand on the end of his punches clueless like Pac was last time. Lamont has a slick style that has caused Marquez trouble. Lamont isnt in Floyds league but he is better than Norwood and Chris John. I also think a washed up Barrera got the better of Marquez so Lamont has a very good chance in this fight.

Right now I lean towards Peterson on points.
