  • Comments Thread For: Vitali Klitschko: Chisora Will Be The Challenge I Need

There are two common takes on the state of the heavyweight division, both going hand in hand.

The Klitschko brothers have a strangehold on the division, and that heavyweight action in general these days has become boring and disinteresting. [Click Here To Read More]

Let's be straight, Vitali is the best HW in the world. He doesn't lose rounds even! The only reason Wlad is rated higher because they are brothers and will not fight each other. We all know who would win that fight.

Chisora barely won a round against Fury. This fight is a joke and Vitali's attempts to pretend otherwise lack all credibility. Helenius was seriously over-rated plus he had an injury, but Chisora hasn't suddenly changed from a bad fighter to a good one. He's still the fighter who was outclassed by Fury - who is far from being world class himself.

The division is dead and garbage and the Klitschkos are a product of that. Nothing more, nothing less.

He's rated higher because he didn't retire for 4 years. If Vitali had not retired, he would have likely 8-10 additional defences and likely a great all time resume. But it doesn't matter, we all know who would win the fight between the two.

I don't think Chisora is a great fight or anything but he was very competitive against Fury and even hurt him a couple of times. I don't see how you can say otherwise. The scorecards don't tell the whole story in that fight.

Oh brother, I think I will trust boxing analysts opinions over yours who accept the Klitschko greatness for what it is. Actual skill and dominance. The only reason other fighters in the division can't make a name for themselves is because they can't get a belt from a Klitschko. Accept it.

Chisora was 20lbs overweight for the Fury fight. Everybody knows he was demotivated and didn't take the fight seriously after his fight with Wlad fell through.

All interesting comments... mostly true except for one or two boring hater responses that are mostly trigger related because they have nothing else to say so they say the easiest thing that comes to mind... the division sucks including the brother's who are to blame for it.

Truth be told.. you're all betching about the brother's dominance now when they were equally as dominant pre 2000 when Lennox... Bowe.. Tyson & Holyfield were winning.. in fact about half there work was done when the last 4 great heavyweights were active... so the fact that everyone claims the brother's are doing there work in a shoddy era is a a tall tale to say the least.. you all act like they weren't active in the last great era for heavyweight boxing when they certainly were & were ko'ing everyone then as well.

The brother's have completely & utterly destroyed all competition along the way... it was a natural progression as all the great heavies of the 90's were being filtered out & Klitschko.. at least Vitali is in the same age bracket as all those everyone thinks was great in the 90's when heavyweight fights were competitive... stop creating lies..

Vitali stated it perfectly.. winning DOMINANTLY & coming away with no scratches in the process will always be boring no matter how we slice it. Vitali was involved in 2 classic brawls vs Lewis & Sanders & did well for himself... so we know he can handle any boxing style.. whether it's exciting or not is strictly up to his opponent.. he takes what the opposition gives him.. Kevin Johnson DIDN'T want to fight.. so Vitali took what was available.. Chris areolla came right at him.. so he just led him straight into his fists... Briggs wanted to be a punching bag so Vitali used him as such.. Solis wanted to get fancy with Vitali thinking he had the speed to get in & out.. he found out wrong & paid dearly for it.. Styles make the opposition... Vitali is willing to fight any style you present..

All these Klitschko victims are ALL competitive against each other & those fights would be your championship bouts if the Klitschko's weren't around.. appreciate the dominance.. EVERY era has had it's dominant fighters... Louis.. Holmes. Lewis.. but NOT every era has had two brothers practically exchanging KO victories every other month... learn to respect that!

FiND out when the brother's first burst onto the scene... the Klitschko's are ALSO a byproduct of the 90's heavyweight scene,,, the one everyone claims is one of the best... let's stop the lies & the nonsense once & for all... the brother;s have fought & succeeded in both eras... not just this one as every hater & there mother will have us believe just so it fits into the criteria of hater propoganda..... now that i've stated this as a truth.. you're going to say they fought the tomatoe cans of that era.. forgeting the fact all the 90's GREATS also used the similar oppostion to boost there "common" opposition records.. Admit you're all full of crap & KEEP IT THE PHOCK MOVING>>>>
