Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin-Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam Back in Talks?

There are rumors coming out of Germany that middleweights Gennady Golovkin and Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam are once again negotiating a possible fight. Golovkin (22-0, 19 KOs) is the WBA's "regular" champion at 160, while N'Jikam (26-0, 17 KOs) is the WBA's interim-champion in the same division. The fight is being rumored to occur in April. The WBA has been trying to clean up their rankings at 160-pounds for a very long time, but none of the three champions have been able to reach a deal to fight each other. Felix Sturm is third beltholder at 160 for the WBA, recognized as their "super champion."

golovkin will continue to duck and make excuses. . .

he don't want none of the slick, fast, french-cameroonian. . .

he's too slow and uncoordinated, while hassan is sleek, and fleet!

Big Fight and a big test for both

N'Jikam style will give anyone he fights...SERIOUS PROBLEMS he is extremely slick and has amazing footwork and Stamina

but GGG is very good also

hopefully they make that fight...and hopefully both of them can get on one of these Networks and be showcased more especially here in the US

i honestly need to get more familiar with this n'jikam guy. i've seen like one or two clips of him, and it was back when i first made my account on here. golovkin is one tough dude though, i don't expect to see anyone simply outbox him. can't make a serious prediction or comment on this cause i'm not famiiar with n'jikam, but two undefeated fighters, especially at middleweight, sounds awesome.

im just talking shyt. . this is honestly a 50/50 fight. . . i just don't buy into the golovkin hype. . . if his fight against ouma is any indication of his true abilities, then he will be in a RUDE awakening when he steps in the ring with a big, strong, fast full-sized MW like Hassan. . .

here is a lot of N'Dam's fights. . . I been a big fan of this guy for a long time. . . can't get enough of his style. . .

but everybody is ducking Golovkin man, the guy's a beast

            J/K

it's funny how everybody crowned Golovkin a beast when he's only beaten bums as a pro. but that's how it goes. Lemieux was a "beast",then Pirog, then Golovkin and the next "beast" will be Proska if he isn't already.

N'Dam N'Jikam's a real talent, he's like a big Sergio Martinez who keeps his hands up.

I'm not sure how big he'll ever be in France but he should go to Canada built up a fan base.

Look forward to see this great fight! To me it is more better and interesting than with Felix Sturm.

How ******ed is it that the WBA has 3 "champions" at 160? Worst governing body out there.
