Don't see what a small pudgy feather fisted brawler in Diaz could have done against Rios, his aggressive style wouldn't work and he wasn't a good enough boxer to outbox Brandon. Don't think any version of Juan Diaz would have beaten Brandon Rios, stylistically he just doesn't match up well.

Rios is too big and strong for Diaz. Baby Bull would have charged at Rios, maybe tried to give him a couple of angles, but he wouldn't be able to get away from the power. Rios would stop him.

Agreed. Diaz was an aggressive activity fighter, which spells doom against Rios if you can't hurt him. Obviously Diaz couldn't hurt him.
rios via knockout
i dont know if he'd put his lights out and find space for clean shots, but i think he'd grind him down badly and really light his face up
the '09 baby bull didnt know how to take a backward step
that would be a horrible idea against a guy like bam bam, who has a better chin, bigger punch, and would probably be about ten lbs heavier on fight night.
rios would be far too strong for him. bad match of styles for baby bull. i dont think it would end well for him. he's no aaron pryor.
hell of a fight, though
diaz had pretty fast feet and hands, and a great work rate and level of conditioning.
cant even vote on that 1 cause its such a good match.
I wish The Baby Bull fought Rios as his farewell fight after a few tune ups. I bet he still has one good fight left in him. Too bad he left it all in the ring that night against JMM.
