Tszyu is already in the HOF, Cotto is a fringe contender for it. Don't event attempt to start that. You are new to boxing, it's aparent in how you think.

Cotto, while a good fighter was chinny @ 140 and Hatton was a beast in 2005-2006 when the fight could've happened. I'm not saying that he definitely beats Cotto, but it would have been an even matchup back then and getting caught with a perfect shot by an ATG southpaw in Pacquiao is far different than fighting Cotto @ 140.

If you think Cotto could have taken that shot Hatton was hit with you are an idiot. As I said before, you base too much of you evaluation solely on the Pacquiao loss. Don't forget, Cotto was brutalized twice in his career and once was by a lesser fighter. Hatton at least was only beaten by the two best in the last 15 years.

Cotto was superior in every department at 140 except maybe durability and even that is contingent on what stage of Cotto's 140 tenure we're talking about.

Hatton would have gotten a horrific beating. It's a really, really bad style matchup for him. I don't even think Hatton is as overrated as many do but the version of Cotto that fought.......Pinto and Bailey for example, is a styilistic nightmare for Hatton.

That's all speculation. Hatton had the volume and chin to over run Tszyu when nobody thought he could. I understand you favoring Cotto and why but in my opinion, Cotto wasn't as good at 140 as he is @ 147. Hatton would have given him a good fight if not beating him altogether.
