Pac may just be starting to send the message to Arum that Arum does not get final decision. There's no other reason why he would mention that he is waiting for Arum to leave first. This puts EVERYTHING on Pac now and he has to follow through and pick Floyd or Pac's reputation goes down the drain.

But Pac also can't wait....he needs to tell Arum to meet earlier. Even if Mayweather picks another fighter, Mayweather can still back out and sign the Pac fight if Pac decides on Mayweather even after a couple days. The good part about this is that Pac has put himself into a position with this statement that ANY choice other than Mayweather will result in the collapse of his fan base and I don't believe he would take that risk by saying that the choice will come after Arum leaves. And he did stress that he wants Mayweather. This is where it all comes down. Pac will sink or swim this week!

Mayweather IS an option IF Pac demands it. Pac's reputation is on the line right now. He CAN tell Arum "NO, I want Mayweather or no fight, period".

If Pac chooses any fighter except Mayweather since he WANTS to fight Mayweather, then he will lose a big portion of his fanbase. He indicates in this article that HE is making the decision. Pac needs to be held responsible if he fails to chose Mayweather.

Simply put - Pac said in at least two articles that he is PUSHING Arum to go in the direction of Mayweather. If Pac fails, he loses all respect. It cannot be any simpler than that! What I don't understand is why people will pay to watch Manny fight anyone other that Floyd. Arum admitted to Marquez that his fight with Pacquiao was fixed. This has been publicized everywhere. So now that Arum has admitted that Top Rank fights are fixed why would any of you pay to watch a fixed fight? It's a pretty simple question.
