Dont know if it's true, but on Manny's website he states that he is gonna push Bob Arum to push the mayweather fight, agree to drug testing, and even take a smaller purse to maekt he fight happen. But Arum makes the fight. What is this news about Floyd looking for a new oppponent? Floyd "I take the money myself and move when I want and fight who I want" Mayweather seems to be ducking. Correct me if I'm wrong, to me it seems Manny really wants the fight.Comment

It seems like the Pacquiao fans, at least the majority of his fans, are more content with Pacquiao not fighting Mayweather than them actually fighting. And that's the sad-bitter truth of the matter.
I am sure Mayweather has other fighters in mind (Cotto, Alvarez, Guerrero, etc) and I am sure Manny does too (Marquez, Bradley, Peterson, Cotto). But, if Manny wants the fight, he has to force Bob to make it. Therefore, Bob will have to contact Haymon, Schaefer, or Ellerbe. Schaefer and Oscar already confirmed that they tried to reach out to Bob several times in November and December to make a fight, and no response from Bob. They even had the retired federal judge, who mediates the issues between Floyd and Pac during negotiations, reach out to Bob and Bob responded with the fact that they aren't pursuing Floyd.
We've had Bob Arum say November is much better than May numerous times. We have had Bob Arum and Koncz say May is bad because of Manny's cut and that he's more likely to fight in June. We've had Arum say that May is bad because he wants to build a new 40,000 seat stadium for November. By the way, how is November better when Floyd is going to jail for June and July, and would have 2 months after jail to get ready??? How is that possibly better than May 5th??? If Floyd is released in the first week of August, which he most likely will be, he should fight in early December or maybe late November.
Anyways, we have also had Bob Arum say that NOTHING has changed since the ruling about Floyd's continuation until June. We've had Manny Pacquiao say, as recently as a day ago, that his promoter picks his fights, not him.
Still, even with all this crap, once Bob Arum doesn't contact Haymon, Schaefer, or Ellerbe by the end of the week, Floyd will announce his opponent, and all the mornic Pacquiao lovers will claim that he avoiding the fight, and so starts the Bob Arum PR spin.
We already have Yahoo's Kevin Iole, Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix, and our very own BoxingScene trying to save face for Bob Arum, Pacquiao, and Top Rank.
How else do you explain that the article "Manny Pacquiao ready: I will tell Arum I want Mayweather next" had all the good quotes from Manny's interview a day or two ago, and all his quotes about how he'll tell Bob to make the Mayweather fight. But, the coincidentally leave out the quote where Manny says that he's a fihgter and he doesn't pick his fights, his promoter does, because that's his job. Manny said that a day or two ago, in reference to wanting Mayweather. He said he doesn't want blame because he doesn't pick his fights, his promoter does. That's not an old quote at all, it was from a day or two ago. He said he wants Floyd, but wants no blame if it doesn't push through, because he doesn't pick his fights.
Was it intentional that BoxingScene, Yahoo, and Sports Illustrated forgot to publish that quote?????????Comment

All of Pac's parasites and leeches don't want the fight. They don't want to give up riding the high wave that Manny has them in. They don't want to lose the luster that Pac has right now and rather seek for another winnable fight and try to justify it.
Bradley is a good opponent but there has been no build up for this fight. In no way they were on a collision course. The only think that makes sense is the winner of Ortiz and Berto besides a Floyd fight.
Hopefully Pac will put his foot down and is not convinced otherwiseComment

It's a load of turd. Mayweather has other plans and Bob has other plans for Manny.
These guys are not fighting each other on May 5th and anyone that says they are, I'm willing to bet up to 50M that they don't sign off and meet on the 5th May.
Let's move on and wait for better fights to be signed by other fighters who want to fight each other, these 2 are a bunch of jokers taking the piss out of the fans and lining their own pockets.Comment
