    According to Canadian news agency QMI, a deal is nearly complete for a two-fight package involving super middleweights Lucian Bute and Carl Froch. The first of the two dates, April 14 in Montreal, would have Bute (30-0, 24 KOs) defending his IBF title against Froch, a former two-time WBC champion. The rematch, regardless of the outcome in the first bout, would take place in Froch's home court of Nottingham on August 4th. QMI believes a deal will be finalized shortly.

              Great fight.

              Hopefully the first fight makes the rematch pointless so we get to Ward faster.

                  That's why I like guys like Froch and Darchinyan.

                  They are always finding a way to fight the best and are consistent about it.

                      I like these two guys fighting each other what I don't like is Froch should be fighting in his hometown first he has earned it also Bute sighed a three fight deal with Showtime and two of those fights will be with Froch I don't like it when networks give fighters deals like this because it takes a lot of money out of their budget let the Promotors put in the contracts and later determine if the network wants to buy the rematch.

                              Sounds like you want Bute to win (or think he will), because Froch is unlikely to fight Ward again. Carl is more likely to rematch Kessler.

                                  i been riding wit ward for awhile now but you got to give major props to froch man, dude is a stud! alot of boxers can learn from this guy he fights the fights boxing fans want to see. brit or not hands down some of the biggest balls in the fight game(no ****)
