Fight with Guerro ain't happening. Floyd ain't about to make himself look a fool and put Pac back on top by fighting Guerrero. No way. there have been so many rumors on who Floyd is fighting and all of them came from Bob Arum. Floyd is too much into himself to make a bad decision like this. He took on Mosley when Pac wouldn't and Ortiz. Floyd is going to pick somebody he can at least gain from and not lose. You guys are bugging believing Arum and Boxingscene journalist. Wait for the announcement. But I can tell that Pac fans really want it to be Guerrero so Pac's reputation can be saved. I honestly think Floyd is going to call out Pac. Pac set himself up with that interview about wanting to fight Floyd and taking less pay and taking the tests. I think Team Floyd may have played Bob and Pac. Before people thought Floyd was ducking and now Pac is in hot water so I can't see why Floyd would give up leverage for trying to make a fight with Guerrero and letting Pac off the hook. Wouldn't be a smart business decision.

Cotto is past his prime-still good, same as when Manny fought him in 2009. I have said time and time again that Manny hasn't had a really legit fight since Cotto in NOV 09'.

If Floyd or Manny fight Cotto at 154 lbs, it's a B+ fight, very legit. If it's at 147-150, it drops to a C and C- fight, sorry.

If Floyd beats Cotto at 154, he gets credit where it's due, but Manny gets more for doing it first. Same thing with Ricky Hatton. Manny gets his due for that win, but Floyd gets more because he did it first.

Who put Guerrero name out there? Schafer. Who promotes Guerrero? Schafer.

It's quite obvious what's going on here. Guerrero right now has nothing going for him. No big fights on the horizon, no real big name recognition. What better way to give him some buzz by linking him up to Floyd? I seriously doubt Floyd is contemplating facing him.

Look man, I won't argue too much with you, but Marquez was seen as a past prime fighter, who had been less than stellar against Katsidis and Diaz in 2010, not event hat good anymore, and he got dominated by Floyd at 144......that was the view going into his fight with Manny. It was suppose to be a one sided beat down, but Juan still went life and death with Manny again.

I never thought JMM was past his prime AND I never thought Pac would breeze through him. That fight with Katsidis really showed me how fierce of a fighter JMM is technically. Dope fight. Juan Manuel Marquez is definitely a better fighter skill wise then Miguel Cotto.

Cotto fought a hell of a good fight. Took manny 12 to shut the man out. cotto is a beast. Margarito beat him up bad. Cotto Beats up his opponents. You said ... i was simply saying ...margarito didnt JUST beat him up... Manny did too.! I think it would be a good fight....

co sighn that....Cotto is made for mayweather. Stands right in front willing to trade. He stops throwing when he gets hit. Thats a bad i flaw i see in him( check some vid out youll see what i mean) BUT he is a tough as nails SOB and puts up a fight. Which makes him dangerous and gives him that chance. If he gets off on Mayweather he will hurt Floyd. IF!!!
